KUCHING: A 21-year-old youth sustained serious injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a van at Taman Genesis, Jalan Matang near here at 8.40pm last Sunday.
The impact of the collision caused the motorcyclist to sustain injuries on his head and broke his right arm while the van driver was unhurt.
After the accident, BOMBA personnel rushed to the scene but some members of the public have already carried the injured motorcyclist to the roadside.
The injured motorcyclist was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
