KUCHING: The National Kidney Foundation Malaysia and Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Chapter will host a vital life-saving campaign in conjunction with World Kidney Day which falls on Saturday (Mar 9).
The campaign will be held at The Spring from 10 am to 2 pm. The activities will include a blood donation drive alongside free health screening programme.
Attendees can benefit from checks on body mass index, waist circumference, urine analysis, blood glucose, cholesterol and blood sugar. There will also be a counselling session by an expert representative from the National Kidney Foundation Malaysia.
The event promises more than just health services, with activities such as health talks, quizzes, healthy snack cooking competition, lucky draws and games. Successful blood donors will receive complimentary goodie bags.
