LIMBANG: Police here are investigating a fight case involving a group of men at a parking lot in Jalan Merdeka on Tuesday (Mar 7).
The incident went viral on social media after a 19-second video-clip showing a group of men fighting at the parking lot was uploaded.
Limbang OCPD Supt Parum Niot, in a statement, said they received a police report regarding the incident and had already identified individuals believed to be involved.
“The case is being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code for committing an affray.
“If convicted, they can be sentenced to six months in jail or a fine or, both at once,” he said.
Parum urged the public not to create any speculations or spread the video clip so as not to interfere with police investigation.
