BINTULU: Residents of Kampung Kuala Segan here had a dialogue with the Bintulu Division Land and Survey Department regarding their village land status at community hall yesterday afternoon.

The dialogue was conducted by the Land Administration Officer (Land) of the Land and Survey Department (LSD) Bintulu Division, Ahmad Razlan Yaiyah, and was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak (Entrepreneur Development) Datuk Dr. Ripin Lamat.

Dr. Ripin expressed his hope before the meeting began that it would shed clear light on the village’s land situation without causing any heated emotions among those present.

He emphasised the importance of listening calmly to the information provided by the JTS. “We’ve already pinpointed several concerns,” he noted, suggesting that issues had been identified beforehand.

His expectation was that by the end of the discussion, the residents would have a better understanding of their land’s status based on the explanations given by the JTS officials.
