MIRI: A man and his staff at Trident Training Centre in Jalan Cahaya Lopeng were taken aback when they stumbled upon an unexpected encounter — a cobra and a dead mouse.
According to the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (MCDF) report, the unwelcome visitors were discovered in a classroom at the training centre at 9.31 am this morning.
Concerned for their safety, the man, aged 35, promptly contacted the MCDF seeking assistance in capturing the reptile.
Within a swift 10-minute response time, the team arrived at the scene and successfully captured the cobra using a water bottle.
The reptile was later released back into its natural habitat.
