KUCHING: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) here celebrated its 212th Police Day with a grand parade and an entertaining sketch.

Sarawak Deputy Commissioner of Police Datuk Pahlawan Mohd Dzuraidi Ibrahim said the celebration not only symbolises love and loyalty to the force but also a morale booster to those still serving.

“The evolution in which the PDRM has gone through has allowed it to carry out its function as the nation’s oldest law enforcement agency,” he said.

He added that this was represented in the form of delivery of quality and integrative service, “in conjunction with the celebration, all should honour the sacrifices of retirees and the fallen who served and defended the country.”
