SIBU: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sibu Service Centre will hold a subsidy programme at Kim Hock Supermarket along Jalan Pedada here today.

The programme will run from 8.30 am to 11 am.

Sibu Member of Parliament Oscar Ling stated that the subsidies are limited to 700 sets of essential items, including 5kg of rice, sugar, cooking oil, and others.

“A total of 700 sets of goods, priced at RM55 each, will be available during this programme,” he said in a statement yesterday.

He advised the public to come early to avoid disappointment during the programme.

Therefore, he further said that the sets of goods would be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with each household limited to obtaining only one set.

“This initiative is evidence of the commitment and dedication of the DAP to serve the people,” he added.
