MIRI: A morning blaze completely destroyed a house at Lot 294 Lorong Mulia 2A Tudan Phase 2, Jalan Tudan today.
Firefighters received an emergency call at 2.32 am regarding the incident which prompted a team from Lutong station unit to rush to the scene with assistance from the Lopeng station.
Upon reaching the scene, the firefighters were confronted with a blazing two-storey vacant house, measuring 30 x 40 square feet, of semi-permanent construction.
Defensive extinguishing measures were swiftly employed, deploying a 100-foot hose line, a nozzle, and two auxiliary hose lines. The water supply was sourced from the pumps of both units. The coordinated efforts led to the complete extinguishment of the fire.
No casualties were reported during the operation, and after ensuring the absence of any residual fire risk, the operation was concluded at 4.14 am.
