LIMBANG: The rapid development that is taking place will have an impact on Limbang by 2030, said Deputy Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development (M-FICORD) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail.

He said that the people here can benefit from various development activities in the area, including road infrastructure development.

“In 2025, we will begin to see changes after the completion of the Limbang Esplanade.

“However, significant changes will be seen by 2030 with the completion of road networks such as the Sarawak-Sabah Link Road (SSLR), Trans-Borneo Highway, Northern Region Coastal Highway, administrative complexes, and much more,” he said at the Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri organised by the Limbang District Islamic Committee (JTPIL) and Purnama Sport Carnival (PURSCAR) Limbang held at Limbang Civic Centre, recently.

In this regard, Dr Abdul Rahman, who is also Bukit Kota assemblyman hoped that all development activities, along with consistent utility supply, will encourage more industrial activities here.
