LUBOK ANTU: Deputy Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development (M-FICORD) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail chaired a dialogue session on tilapia fish breeding at Borneo Eco Fish Station here recently.

M-FICORD, in a statement, said the purpose of the dialogue was to explain the concept of project management to the participants besides being an engagement session with the management and agencies involved.

Dr Abdul Rahman, who is also Sarawak State Farmer’s Organisation (PPNS) chairman, stressed on the use of Internet of Things (IoT) system and smart feeder in order to achieve maximum results by aiming to harvest up to three times a year.

He also hoped that the 18 selected participants would make this project a success.

Also present were chief scientist and chief advisor of Sarawak Digital Economy Professor Jack Singh, PPNS general manager Gom Raway and others.
