KUCHING: Sarawakians have been warned not to be fooled by the Sarawak Pakatan Harapan (PH) election manifesto for the coming state election.

Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) president Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian said PH will resort to all sorts of tactics, one of which is to split the people.

“Establishing the Federal Village Community Management Council (MPKKP) in the state is one such tactic to disunite the people,” he said at the inaugural GPS Convention.

However, he believed Sarawakians “will not be that stupid” to vote for the federal-based coalition.

“As you know, after the 14th general election, the people’s lives have been very bitter and tough. Even my mother complained about the (rising) cost of living.

“What the PH promised… have they fulfilled them? Has our petrol price decreased to RM1.50? Has the PTPTN been abolished? Has the 20 per cent oil royalty been given to Sarawak? All no! We tengok saja (see only),” he said.

He warned that if PH were to win the coming state election, the people would be controlled by Malaya again.

“So don’t believe in the PH manifesto next year. They are pembulak (liars).

“Irrespective of who we are, it’s time for Sarawakians to help Sarawak now. Don’t cast your votes for PH,” he added.
