BINTULU: A 34-year-old man cheated death after the car he was driving skidded off the road and fell 18 feet into a ditch near Pearl Garden, Jalan Sibiew here, early yesterday morning.
Ten firefighters from Bintulu fire station were deployed to the scene following a distress call received at 5.31am on the incident.
The driver who sustained some injuries was immediately taken to Bintulu Hospital for treatment.
The actual cause of the incident is still not known and investigation is on-going.
