SRI AMAN: A lorry driver sustained injuries while its passenger was unharmed after the vehicle they were travelling in went out of control and overturned along KM45, Jalan Sri Aman-Kuching today.
Sri Aman police chief DSP Bingkok John said the incident happened around 1.30am when the lorry travelling to Sibu, was descending Bukit Begunan.
The lorry is believed to have gone out of control when heading downhill and the driver tried to hit the brakes to avoid the crash.
“However, the lorry crashed and overturned in the middle of the road.
“The driver sustained minor injuries and had already received treatment in Sri Aman Hospital before lodging a police report in the afternoon,” he said.
