In a media statement, So said the programme was organised by the Ministry of Education (KPM) in collaboration with the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).

He said the programme was previously known as the KPM and PDRM Consensus Council: ‘Jom Ke Sekolah’ and had now been rebranded in line with the aspect of ‘karamah insaniah’ through the formation of manners, morals and integrity.

The purpose of organising this event, he said, was also to strengthen cooperation between the KPM and the PDRM.

“Among the initiatives implemented is through the involvement of PDRM officers as School Liaison Officers (PPS) in schools to help deal with issues of school disciplinary misconduct.
