KUCHING: In conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of the passing of Elvis Presley, the management of Kuching Waterfront presents ‘Elvis Presley: Always Remembered, Never Forgotten’ at the Godown Amphitheatre of Kuching Waterfront today (Saturday 26 August) at 8.30pm.
It is the Elvis tribute performance by six local impressionists of the King comprising experienced members of the Elvis Presley Fan Club Sarawak led by its chairman Elvis Presley of Kuching titleholder and Gold Coast Australia Viva Surfer Paradise 2015 finalist Ges ak Barundang @ Elges Presley. He is joined by senior club member and Elvis Presley of Sarawak titleholder Eskandar Eyaw; young Adrian David Junior; Martin Ong; Azmi Jahidin @ Elaz AJ and Elvis of Borneo who is also former Elvis of Penang/Mr Curled Lips TS Valentine @ Elval.
The public can expect an exciting mix of The King of Rock and Rolls’ hit songs and also his hip shaking performances.
According to the management of Kuching Waterfront, this is part of our regular entertainment programme, which in the past have featured performers like traditional music, pop, country and western, oldies and also numerous cultural performances.
Members of the public and tourists are all welcomed to this event which is free of charge, the statement concluded.
