KAPIT: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has urged the youth of Sarawak to embrace the spirit of ‘Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban,’ wherever they may be.

He emphasises that ‘Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban’ remains a motto resonating as the rallying cry for Sarawak’s heroes.

“The progress in Sarawak, including Kapit Division, over the past 60 years is evident, significantly contributing to the well-being of the people.

“Our ongoing efforts to develop and advance Sarawak should be embraced. Let’s embody this motto and collaborate with the government to elevate Sarawak on both national and international stages,” he said.

Abang Johari said this in his speech, which was read by Youth, Sport, and Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah at the state-level Youth Day at Dewan Suarah Kapit here today.

Meanwhile, on the programme, Abang Johari expressed gratitude to all parties involved in making the event, themed ‘Belia Maju, Sarawak Makmur,’ a success.
