Safiee is warmly welcomed by the public at the PIBKS Town Hall Session during the Daro Festival.

DARO: All segments of society have the right to support education empowerment, says Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad.

“It is not limited to assemblymen, government and private agencies alone.

“The term ‘contributing’ should not be limited in financial form only because talent and skills can also be used as a contribution.

“The level of concern for education and the impact of donations on the school environment directly affect the quality of education,” he said.

He said this in the Town Hall Session of Parent, Community and Private Sector Involvement in Education (PIBKS) with the people held in conjunction with the Daro Festival, at the Daro Festival Main Stage, on Wednesday.

As such, he said this session is to promote the role of all parties in the empowerment of education.

Safiee said that involving the assemblyman in the school transformation programme can rally community support for improving students and schools.

At the same time, he revealed that the Malaysian Education Blueprint (PPPM) 2013 to 2025 outlines 11 thrusts and PIBKS is the ninth thrust.
