KUCHING: A fire incident occurred involving an excavator at the entrance to Darul Hana Mosque on Jalan Tun Salahuddin here on Friday.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department, they received a call at 5.47 am, leading to the immediate dispatch of a team from the Petra Jaya station to the location.
Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters discovered that an excavator was ablaze, with the fire originating from the engine compartment and spreading to the driver’s section of the tractor.
The firefighters commenced an extinguishing operation, employing a hose reel connected to the fire truck’s water supply until the fire was fully extinguished.
