SIBU: Twelve former committee members of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Selangau branch, who recently relinquished all positions and quit the party, have confirmed that they will be joining Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) following in the footsteps of Ba Kelalan assemblyman and Selangau MP Baru Bian.

This was confirmed by a former deputy branch chief Simon Joseph, who acted as spokesman for the group.

The group, led by Simon, pledged full support for Baru’s leadership and trust in pursuing their struggle under PSB.

“Today, we express our unwavering support and full trust in Baru Bian’s leadership and his decision to pursue our struggle to defend Sarawak rights through PSB,” he said today.

“We believe that Baru’s vision and his choice of PSB is the right platform to strive for a better Sarawak,” he added.

He noted that PSB was a local Sarawak-based party that emphasised on land rights, education, economy, infrastructure, an autonomous Sarawak under the 1963 Malaysia Agreement while also ensuring the harmony of a multiracial community.
