Family locked out of car accidentally

MIRI: A family from Brunei would probably want to remember fondly the time they took a trip here — or maybe not.

They accidentally locked themselves out of their car late Tuesday.

Prior to the incident at around 5pm, the couple and their son had just arrived at a shopping mall in Jalan Dato Permaisuri.

Upon exiting their vehicle, they realised that the keys were still inside.

Members of the public, sensing the dire situation the family were in, immediately called up the Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.

Three APM personnel rushed to the scene and it took them less than 20 minutes to unlock the car.
