SRI AMAN: A workshop at Kampung Pasir Panas was 80 per cent razed in a fire incident yesterday morning.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) said firemen from Sri Aman station were despatched to the scene after his department received an emergency call at 1.35am.
By the time the firemen arrived, the blaze was already at its height but thanks to the firemen’s endeavours, they were able to put out the flames and complete their operation at 3.52am.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire incident that occurred at a workshop believed to be used as a place for the installation of solar equipment.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred are still under investigation.
