MIRI: A massive fire broke out in Pujut 9 yesterday, destroying three houses which led to eight individuals homeless.
Fortunately, all residents managed to run for safety when the fire broke out, escaping unharmed.
The fire also destroyed an adjacent oil storage room, apart from the three houses.
A team of firefighters from Lutong and Lopeng fire stations were swiftly dispatched to the scene upon responding to an alert call at 6.25pm to contain and extinguish the flames.
The firefighters managed to contain the blaze and prevented further damage to neighboring properties. The operation ended at 8.07pm.
