LIMBANG: The Medamit Community Hall, serving as a Temporary Relief Centre (PPS), has reported fewer flood victims today (Sept 23) compared to Friday.

The centre recorded 17 flood victims by 3 pm, a decrease from the 199 reported on Friday afternoon.
The Sarawak Civil Defence Force stated that the affected individuals are mainly from Kampung Baru Medamit and Kampung Tanjong.

In another development, the Buluh Balui Multipurpose Hall still shelters 16 flood victims from Kampung Buluh Balui, Ranggu, Batu Danau, and Pandak.

The Buluh Balui hall started its operation as a PPS at 2.30 pm on Friday, while the Medamit Community Hall opened last Wednesday.
