PADAWAN: The flying doctor service (FDS) will be utilised for vaccine transportation to folk residing in the Bengoh Dam area.

Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said there were currently some 112 residents in the area waiting to be vaccinated.

“The FDS will service the Bengoh Dam area villages such as Kampung Muk Ayun, Kampung Sting, Kampung Nyegol and Kampung Sapit, to name a few,” he told the media during a visit to the Bra’ang Bayur Clinic here on Monday (June 28).

According to the latest reports, Dr Jerip said the current vaccination rate among the people in Padawan and Mambong was on track to achieve total vaccination by the end of August.

“The list of vaccine recipients has also been obtained for all villages.

“They have given full cooperation so far and due to the exceptional road infrastructure here, they were able to keep their vaccination appointments.”
