BINTULU: Four workers of an eatery in Tanjong Batu, Bintulu were rushed to Hospital on Wednesday after a LPG gas cylinder exploded in the kitchen of the premises.
According to Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson, 11 firemen from Bintulu station were deployed to the scene after responding to an emergency call at 2.47pm.
The firemen managed to put out the fire shortly after arriving at the scene.
The incident had shattered the premises’ glass door and damaged it ceiling.
The explosion left holes in the ceiling of the kitchen and chunks of debris on the floor.
