Grab driver who went missing returns home

JOHOR BAHRU:  The Grab driver who reportedly went missing after leaving his house in Taman Kota Masai near Pasir Gudang three days ago, has returned home safely on Thursday.

Seri Alam District Police chief, Supt Jokhiri Abdul Aziz said the man arrived home at 6pm and he was fine.

“He drove back to his house in his grey Proton Saga BLM car, bearing registration number JMQ 2214,” he said in a statement here yesterday.

Jokhiri said the man had stayed at a friend’s house in Larkin here and did not contact his wife.

Initial investigation revealed that there were no signs of foul play, he added.

The news on the missing e-hailing service driver, known as Ishak Shuadak, has gone viral on Facebook since yesterday.

It was reported that the man had left his house for work about 10 pm last Tuesday. – Bernama
