KUCHING: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a continuous rain alert warning in several divisions that involved Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong (Pusa and Betong).
It said these areas in Sarawak are forecasted to experience continuous rain until the next day (March 13).
A warning of continuous heavy rain (alert) is issued when heavy rain is expected to occur within one to three days or the ongoing rain/thunderstorm is expected to continue.
Meanwhile, the public are advised to monitor the weather condition through the department’s official website at https://www.met.gov.my/en/, the myCuaca mobile application or the department’s official social media pages.
