H&L donates to Hope Place for Christmas

KUCHING: With Christmas just around the corner, retail supermarket chain H&L Retail Sdn Bhd has donated over RM1,000 to local welfare non-government organisation (NGO) Hope Place at H&L Supermarket in Kuching Central, last Tuesday.

Being one of the oldest retail supermarket chains in Kuching, H&L Retail Sdn Bhd made the donation in conjunction with its 60th diamond anniversary celebration.

At the same time, Hope Place also have donation boxes in all H&L supermarkets in Kuching, Samarahan, Siburan and Serian to encourage members of the public to donate to those in need.

H&L Marketing officer Lianny Bujang stated, “We are thankful that Hope Place is willing to collaborate with us to help the needy.”

Besides that, H&L will be selling charity bags at RM20 starting January next year. All items in the charity bags will be handed over to Hope Place to be distributed to the needy.

Hope Place is currently helping more than 190 families. All donations are welcome and receipts will be given upon request.
