KUCHING: Hope Place is an NGO that aims to help the under privileged in Kuching and its surrounding areas by providing food and assistance.

The handover ceremony between Anjung Kasih, THR Hotel (Sarawak) SdnBhd trading as Hilton Kuching and Hope Place on August 15, 2017 marked the beginning of another CSR project between the two partners to provide breakfast items.

Earlier this year, Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia (JKM) has entrusted Hope Place to oversee the Anjung Kasih Project at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH). This project aims to provide lunch and dinner on a daily basis to the poor family members of the SGH patients who stay at Anjung Kasih.

General Manager of Hilton Kuching, Hamish Watts and his team approached Hope Place on July 2017 with regards to this project. They are delighted that this project has materialized and this could make the families feel the warmth and care from the society.

Hope Place will collect and deliver the food to Anjung Kasih every morning except weekends and public holidays. All food given will be delivered directly to Anjung Kasih on the same day.

Through this CSR, both Hilton Kuching and Hope Place are certain that others would come forward to contribute to the members of Kuching’s less fortunate community.

Hope Place is an NGO that visits the poor and less fortunate families to contribute some essential food items like rice, cooking oil, sugar, salt, biscuits, and noodles.
