Hope Place presents aid to quarantined families

KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching presented one-off emergency aid to nine families at Kampung Muhibbah, Seberang Pending here recently.

The recipients were those undergoing quarantine because their family members tested positive for Covid-19 or who had close contact with the Covid-19 patients.

“The aid was handed over to Kampung Muhibbah’s village chief Yusuf Suhaili who received it on behalf of the families.

“Among the items given were food supplies, face masks, hand sanitisers and soaps,” said the non-governmental organisation (NGO) in a statement on Monday (March 29).

Hope Place said it was glad to give temporary relief to those affected by the pandemic and thanked the public who continuously supported it.

Opening hours are from 8am to 5pm from Mondays until Fridays and 8am to 12pm on Saturdays. All donations are welcome and receipts will be given upon request.
