KUCHING: Anjung Singgah (YKM) recently requested Hope Place to help a Dyslexia patient (slow in learning and response).

According to an Anjung Singgah official, Ediawati, the patient, Ranyie ak Kilau, 20, was from Kuching Orphanage.

He was working in a supermarket but three days ago the State Welfare Department asked Ranyie go to collect a letter from them.

After he collected the letter, Ranyie reported back to work but the supermarket management fired him on the spot and ordered Ranyie to leave the company the same day.

After he was fired Ranyie has no place to put up at so one of his friends brought him to Anjung Singgah.

Yesterday Anjung Singgah helped Ranyie to get a new job work at another supermarket.

Ranyie is moving out from Anjung Singgah today but does not have food to eat and mattress to sleep on. Anjung Singgah then contacted Hope Place to help Ranyie. Anjung Singgah also helped Ranyie to apply for an OKU (person with disabilities) card from the State Welfare Department.
