SARIKEI: Communities can certainly judge for themselves the excellent record of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Sarikei candidate Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Siing during his two terms as Repok assemblyman since 2016.

The GPS government had brought in more projects and development to Sarikei Division, said Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing.

At Huang’s campaign rally, Ding, who is the Meradong assemblyman, stressed that the changes were enough to give a clear impression that Huang is an individual who can ensure the welfare and wellbeing of the people.

“For that, fulfil your obligation on voting day. Make wise choices to ensure that development can continue to be achieved in Sarikei,” he said on Monday night (Nov 14).

Before that, Ding reminded the community on what happened during the administration of Pakatan Harapan (PH).

“Avoid the same calamity from happening again to ensure that people can enjoy and benefit from the development brought by the GPS government.”

Meanwhile, Huang urged the people to give him a chance to serve Sarikei for the next five years if he is elected as MP. “If I do not perform well in the five years, I am willing to step down.”
