KUCHING: The inaugaral International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Impact Masterclass yesterday welcomed 24 leaders from Malaysian and international associations for the Association Impact Leadership certificate.

Hosted and sponsored by Business Events Sarawak (BE Sarawak), the event marks the beginning of a group set to be recognised as Association Impact Leaders by the ICCA, in collaboration with Meet4Impact and GainingEdge.

The two-day event began yesterday at the Borneo Convention Centre here; it features a two-day masterclass that aims to delve into essential areas concerning legacy building and impact creation.

It provides participants with invaluable insights, practical tools and hands-on learning experiences to effectively communicate their impact mission, enhance partnerships, and develop a robust approach to impact planning, management and measurement.

The course is led by association meeting experts Meet4Impact co-founder and CEO Genevieve Leclerc and GainingEdge executive chairman Gary Grimmer, who are also co-creators of this education programme.

BE Sarawak CEO Amelia Roziman said the masterclass aimed to translate ideas into actions for genuine impact.
