LIMBANG: Deputy Minister for Transport, Datuk Hasbi Habibollah has stressed the importance of family conversations in fostering social unity.

Speaking at the recent Limbang Divisional Ziarah Gawai programme organised by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) at Rumah Helen, Kampung Ensurai Limbang, he highlighted that the foundation of unity began within the home and extended to the broader community.

“Unity starts from home in our own family and how we treat our neighbours. Therefore, this unity extends not only in the state but throughout the country,” said the Limbang MP said.

He also acknowledged the significance of Gawai, the Dayak community’s celebration, which is respected by people of all races and religions.

The Ziarah Gawai event featured various activities, including the ‘Pekit Kumang Gawai’ and ‘Pekit Ngajat’ for children, as well as futsal and sports competitions.
