JAKARTA: Online shopping platforms in Indonesia will blacklist and take down sellers that sell imported second-hand clothes, the Indonesian E-Commerce Association announced Thursday.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo has said that thrift shopping, buying second-hand goods, was getting popular in Indonesia, and imported thrift clothes had disrupted the domestic textile industry, reported Xinhua.

Indonesian Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan has also said that thrift clothing import businesses have inflicted loss on the country.
