LUNDU: Witnessed by the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), all the Cabinet members of the Sarawak government, starting with the Premier have pledged and signed the integrity pledge when they formed the new government after the 12th state election.

Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya, in a statement here, said this showed the government’s commitment for the new state assembly so as to motivate them to have a new leadership spirit and to support the current leadership to lead Sarawak to a new era.

He added that his unit was the first to be formed in Sarawak although such units have been established in more developed countries.

He said this when officiating at the Integrity Roadshow programme Series 1/2023 Kuching division at the Lundu Community Hall here yesterday.

Also present was Tanjung Datuk assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan who hoped that all the leaders in the district can be role models to the community and to always monitor the projects and activities so as to ensure that they can be implemented smoothly.
