KUCHING: Students of Politeknik Kuching (PKS) received 150 packets of bubur lambuk (spiced congee) and hot food from Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YaPEIM) Sarawak recently.
The distribution of the food was done in conjunction with YaPEIM’s Ramadan Qaseh Inspiration Programme.
Present to handover the food were YaPEIM Sarawak community department head Siti Aminah Dolah @ Abdullah.
PKS director Jamaliah Ahmad in her speech conveyed her appreciation and was grateful to YaPIEM Sarawak for the food contribution.
Meanwhile, YaPEIM’s Ramadan Qaseh Inspiration Programme is an annual programme initiated since 2016.
The target groups for the programme include uniformed bodies, orphanages and many more.
Also present was PKS deputy director (academic support) Mohamad Khirudin Amdan.
