LAWAS: The Malaysian Information Department (JaPen) in Lawas district, in partnership with the Health Department of Lawas, held an ‘Info on Wheels’ (IOW) programme at the Kampung Sualai vaccination centre (PPV) today.

During the programme, 32 frontliners and volunteers received boxes of mineral water as a token of appreciation for their hard work during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The donation was presented by Lawas district information officer Idris Hassan to the head of the PPV, Dr Ahmad Khairi, who is also the coordinator of Kampung Sualai PPV, witnessed by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and wife Datuk Dayang Morliah Awang Daud.

The Kampung Sualai PPV is opened from Tuesday until today and those yet to register for the vaccine are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

In an effort to alert the public on the opening of the PPV, Lawas JaPen also made a public announcement around the area using its mobile unit.
