KUCHING: Datuk Jaul Samion (pic) was confirmed as the new State Secretary replacing Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohd Morshidi Abdul Ghani.
This was announced by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at a press conference at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here yesterday.
He was appointed as acting State Secretary in May after Morshidi took an extended leave prior to his retirement in August.
Jaul, who is an Iban, will be the eighth State Secretary. He was previously the Deputy State Secretary and permanent secretary at the Ministry of Land Development. He had also previously served in various other ministries, including the Ministry of Industries.
