MIRI: JCI Riam held a five-hour training course to provide members with an in-depth understanding of the non-governmental organisation, its mission, and values here on Sept 28.
The training also covered leadership qualities, leadership skill development, distinctions between leaders and followers, and leadership opportunities within the Junior Chamber International.
Seasoned trainer JCI Senator, Petrus G. Young, provided a comprehensive overview of JCI’s core concepts, fostering active participation and interaction among the course participants.
JCI Riam president, Kelvin Hii, encouraged members to apply the knowledge they acquired to contribute to the future development of JCI Riam.
The JCI’s mission is to provide young individuals with opportunities for leadership development, personal growth, and social responsibility while fostering friendships and making contributions to global community development.
It focuses on areas such as individual development, community development, business development, and international opportunities.
