KUCHING: John Nyigor was sworn in as a political secretary to the chief minister before Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at Wisma Bapa Malaysia on Monday (Sept 21).

In gratitude, John conveyed his appreciation to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari for having given him the appointment.

“It is a big task for me and I am very grateful to Abang Johari for having considered and appointing me to be one of his political secretaries,” he told New Sarawak Tribune when contacted today (Sept 21).

He expected the post to be challenging one, but he will do his very best to carry out his duties.
