SIBU: Kong Tze Ling has been elected as the new president for Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan for the 2023-2024 period taking over from Dr David Ling Sien Ngan whose term will expire on July 1.
Kong who was appointed during the Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently will be assisted by Tiau Kiu Ung (first vice president) and Benjamin Tian (second vice president).
Others in the new committee are Dr David Ling Sien Ngan (immediate past president), Dixon Chiu Kuong Woo (secretary), Datuk Jimmy Tie Hien Hwa (treasurer), Datuk Betty Wong Yieng (membership chairperson), Tiong Chung Hia (service chairperson) and Johnnie Ling Jiak Hee (marketing and communications).
Meanwhile, Cindy Hii, David Hii Hiong Hung, Gilbert Lai and Dennis Liew are appointed as the directors.
Kong during the AGM also appointed the administrative committees and activity committees to assist him in managing the club and provide services to the needy.
