The race organised by the Kuching Division Remote Control Boat Club will be held at the Bangunan Baitulmakmur (MASJA) Lake, Petra Jaya.

Race director, Abang Nawawi Bolhassan Abang Dawi said, 50 participants are expected to compete in the coming event.

“There will be two categories competed during the two-day race,” said Abang Nawawi to Arena Suara Sarawak/New Sarawak Tribune.

The two categories involved are Battery Racing and Petrol Racing besides also having a breakdown of other categories according to the race class that has been set, he pointed out.

“We believe that holding the race will be able to rekindle the spirit of the fans of the sports involved as the event has not been held for almost two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Abang Nawawi to Arena Suara Sarawak/New Sarawak Tribune.
