BINTANGOR: Residents of Rumah Panjang Michael, Jambatan Merah, Bintangor will be getting a new longhouse complete with electricity and water supply.

The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) quoted Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing as saying the project was proof of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government’s concern for the people in rural areas.

He also expressed his gratitude to the residents of the longhouse for their trust in fully supporting GPS representatives in the 12th state election and 15th general election (GE15).

“There will be many more allocations from the Sarawak government and the federal government in the next five years,” he said while attending ‘Program Gawai Mangkong Tiang’ and the launch of Rh Micheal JKKK on yesterday (Dec 10).

Therefore, he hoped that the close cooperation will continue in the future.
