SRI AMAN: A lorry attendant sustained injuries on his left leg after the lorry he was in, rear-ended another lorry along Jalan Bukit Begunan today.
The accident happened at around 1.18 pm and firemen from Sri Aman station were despatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
On arrival, the team found the 23-year-old victim pinned in his seat and performed the extrication works with rescue tools.
He was then handed over to the paramedics for initial treatment before being taken to Sri Aman Hospital for further medical care.
Meanwhile, the lorry driver managed to escape unscathed in the accident.
After ensuring that the situation was safe, the team concluded the operation at 2.18 pm.
