KUCHING: A lorry went out of control and landed on its side in front of the Bintawa police station here, yesterday afternoon,

The lorry driver said he was going to a factory in the area but lost control of the vehicle at a roundabout.

He tried to avoid knocking into the centre of the roundabout which caused the lorry to swerve and landed on its side.

The driver who sustained injury to his head however managed to crawl out of the lorry.

Passers-by and police personnel who rushed to the scene managed to pull out the lorry attendant.

The attendant, a 60-year-old man suffered concussion and both he and the lorry driver were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital and warded for observation.
