KUCHING: The Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT) is looking into investment cooperation with the Sarawak government.

Its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Datuk Nazim Rahman pointed out that the state government was very active, and visionary and had forward-looking principles in terms of a sustainable economic agenda.

“We are honoured and thank the Premier of Sarawak for welcoming us to discuss investment cooperation between LTAT and the Sarawak government,” he was quoted as saying in a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS).

He said this after the LTAT delegation paid a courtesy call on the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today (Feb 9).

Nazim said investment cooperation would enhance the strategic partnership between the two parties and bring mutual benefits.

“LTAT now also has direct and indirect investments in Sarawak. It wants to continue its investment activities with the Sarawak government as its strategic partner,” he said.
