LUBOK ANTU: A total of 62 land titles under Section 18 of the Sarawak Land Code were handed over to the residents of Rumah David Ujan Nanga Sepaya, here.

Deputy Minister of International Trade, Industry and Investment, Datuk Dr Malcolm Mussen Lamoh who handed over the land titles said that the title is an important step in providing certainty of land rights to residents in the area.

“I am very grateful to Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) for oganising this programme which is very meaningful to the local residents, especially the recipients.

“This programme is also a platform for political leadership, heads of departments and the local community to exchange opinions, discuss related issues as well as strengthen cooperative relationships with each other,” he said.

He said this in his speech during the UKAS Ngabang Gawai 2023 at Rumah David Ujan Nanga Sepaya recently.

He then hoped that the organising of such progammes could also be the basis for the development and progress of the community in Lubok Antu and Sarawak as a whole.
