LAWAS: A 31-year-old man was arrested in a village at Jalan Trusan Lawas here for stealing car parts from his uncle’s car and in possession of two home-made shotguns and a cartridge. The man’s action has caused his uncle to lose RM3,000.
The police team from Lawas district headquarters also found two home-made shotguns and a cartridge. One of the shotguns, which is loaded, was found in the bathroom of the house while the other shotgun was found at a brick structure near the house.
The suspect was ar rested under Section 28A of the Criminal Procedure Code (KPJ) and the case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code and Section 8 of the Firearms Act, 1960.
