MIRI: The body of a man was found lying on the floor of a bus stop at GK Jalan Pujut 4 here, early this morning.
Police and medical personnel from Miri Hospital responded to a distress call at around 7.30 am.
The 51-year-old man was discovered unresponsive on the bus stop’s floor.
Medical personnel from Miri Hospital arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
According to sources, a motorist, who happened to be the deceased’s friend had pulled over, because he thought he knew the body, and it turned out that he was right, it was his friend.
He immediately called up the police and the deceased’s next-of-kin.
A close source to the police said that the case is being investigated as sudden death.
